A bundle of hay

"What is the lady feeling here ? " A thought came to my mind looking at this picture. Is the hen happy that one little chick made it ? And is that the most dominant feeling ? Or is she worried about whether the other three would also emerge or not?

And I think this chicken and egg situation is something I can easily relate to how I feel on daily basis. Sometimes am happy about what I already have and sometimes I worry about what is yet to come or not come. And I would say that here one guy made it and needing attention now - and that is the chick that emerged from the eggshells. I think this picture is all about how actually JOY turns up in our lives. Hope, risk, pain, endurance come along with it in a bundle of hay !
