Every morning on her way to work, with a red blouse and a saffron saree wrapped around her, with her basket of fish on her head, she fishes out a way to sell her fish. The expression on her face is fishy indeed because selling fish is like learning a new game each day. Some days she encounters just the black birds, who greet her by dancing around along with signature calls. On other days, it's like a fish market playing all around her.
I see her then mid-day on her way back home,
With printed cloth dead from the dust, red blouse
redder from her sweat- sweet scent of toil;
She is fisherwoman - who fishes all day !
