Invoking Ganesha

श्री गणेशाय नमः
"Ganesha" - Sometimes I feel that He is the closest God to all of us. He is closest not only because Ganesha is the first God to be worshipped. He is also closest because He finds His place on many people's Desk. Ganesha is the most popular among children. Children seems to have a special friendship with "Ganesha". Children are the most eager ones to bring Him home and very reluctant to send Him back. Ganesha himself is the intelligent child of Lord Shiva and Parvati. So intelligent that Rishi vedvyas found Ganesha eligible to write the Mahabharata which Rishi Vedvyas himself dictated.
In the form of "vighna vinashaka", Ganesha is the remover of all obstacles. In the form of sukh karta, Ganesha is the Lord of Happiness. As "Ganpati", He is the leader of all "Ganas" of Lord Shiva. Ganesha is the God of spiritual knowledge.
With these multitudinous of dimensions which Ganesha possesses, let us invoke Ganesha in our lives..
